F1 in Schools Teacher Apprentice with Year 6!

For WWW the Secondary students taught Year 6 the F1 in Schools Primary Challenge over four days. The fifth day was a trip to Ferrari world for the Secondary students. 

The various elements of the challenge include coming up with a team name (the theme was animals), designing a team logo, designing and making a miniature F1 car, creating a poster and power point and designing a team uniform! 

All the students were incredible - below are some images of each day. 

Day one:

Teams came up with a team name, designed their uniform and logo and created the basic chassis of the car. 

Day two:

Science day - students investigated through various experiments streamlining, force and friction and what could make their reaction times faster!

Day 3 

Putting everything together! 

Day 4:

Yas Marina Circuit - testing how fast the cars could go and their reaction times, go karting and a tour of the circuit!

Day five:

Ferrari World!
